Show Volume “The Dash 1, Issue 7 in Between” August is a month in which I focus a lot on what my life has been, and what it will be. Only during life can one _ __ leave a legacy. There is generally a dash between the year born and the year died on a tombstone. The dash in ~ between is what people will talk about. The dash has no beginning and no end; the dates take care of that. But _ what the dash signifies is what you did between the years. Did you cause someone to smile or frown? Did you _ supply a need to someone in need? Did you speak to a stranger? Did you give more love or more sadness? Did you | a _ share Christ with a loved one or a friend? Did you shine the light of Christ in this world of darkness? These things — matter. How much money you earned, how big your home was, how well you dressed, how much education you had will only serve you well while living; it will amount to nothing once that end date has been stamped. Spend a the time in between walking in faith. Show the love of Christ in you each and every day. Only what you do for — — Christ will last. Love your spouse and children, family, church family and friends as Christ portrayed His love for a us. Let your legacy — the dash in between — be what speaks for you when it’s all said and done. Don’t deceive a _ yourself thinking that the things you say and do that are of Christ won't be written in the Book of Life. Pray that _ a ] you may grow in grace and leave a legacy of Christian Love.
