Sharae Younger united with New Zion by baptism on Palm Sunday when she was nine years old. She has been and continues to work faithfully in the church. Sis. Younger credits God and her parents; Bro. Ray and Sis. Penny Younger, for their efforts and support in bringing her and her § sisters to church each Sunday and teaching them the importance knowing God and Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. ATTENTION young girls and women... We need you! You are invited to come to the Mission's bi-monthly meetings each month (Tuesdays, September 9¢ and 30th) and join us as we study spiritual and uplifting As a youth, Sis. Younger actively participated in the Youth Department and Sunday School Ministries and became a member of the Youth Choir. Additionally, Sis. Younger has served graciously as the Mistress of Ceremonies for various youth events and church programs throughout her years at New Zion. Currently, Sis. Younger faithfully serves as a “door keeper’ for the Young Adult Ushers Ministry. She noted that she enjoys greeting members and visitors each Sunday and is very passionate about it. As a diligent servant of God, she was recently honored with receiving the |GBC Women’s Auxiliary “2008 Woman of Faith Award” in addition to several Vacation Bible School awards. @% lessons, and have Christian praise and fellowship. She continued her education at the Historically Black University, Tennessee State University, receiving her under graduate degree in Education in 2006. She has desires to further pursue her education and one day starting her own Day Spa. Sis.
