Show Volume 1, Issue 9 Page 6 New Zion Member of the Month “Bro. Thomas M. White” Bro. Thomas White originally hails from Jesus”. Bro. White noted that his anchor scripture is “John 3:16”. because of His Grace and Mercy, he is able to face each day knowing that He will never forsake me.” Montpelier, VA and through the United State Air Force, he was transferred to Hill AFB. After serving in the military for 24 years, Bro. White _ retired and established his home in Clearfield, Utah in the 1990's. He is the son of Sis. Sarah Junior Deacon’s Ministry N. White and has two sisters, Geraldine and Pastor Davis and the Deacon’s Ministry has renewed the Junior Deacons’ Ministry beginning with the Junior Deacon-in-Training Program. The program has discipleship as its mission focus. We will train young men for spiritual leadership in the church and community. These young men are effectively being groomed (or full deaconship when they reach the proper age. Cathy, and a brother, Dennis. He is the proud father of one daughter, Sis. Cynthia Jackson, one granddaughter, Genesis, and one God-daughter, MaKayla Taylor. Bro. White united with the New Zion Baptist Church by Christian experience in 1996 and continues to work faithfully as a servant here in God's vineyard. He actively participates in various ministries; serving as the Senior Choir President, Trustee Board ViceChairman, the Male Chorus, Audio, Laymen and Prayer Ministries, and is an Adult Sunday School and New Member Orientation Teacher. The training will include: Devotion — its purpose and meaning Food distribution He has been employed as a Career Preparation Specialist and an Equal Employment Officer at the Clearfield Job Corps Center for a number of years. He often brings students from the center to Bible Study and Sunday Worship. Bro. White is involved in the community as a member of the NAACP and the Multicultural Support Group at the Job Corps. In his spare time, Bro. White loves to bowl, play ping pong (table tennis) and working with young adults.
