Volume 1, Issue 9 Youth Happenings... Greetings from the New Zion Baptist Youth Department! School has started and the youths are still involved in dance, choir and other activities and events. The Youth Department along with the Senior Choir participated in the event. The Kids of the King Choir and the young dancers rendered songs and dances of praise. The youth also provided ice cream and popsicles at the New Zion booth. It was a great time of Christian fellowship with our members and other churches throughout the community. The Youth Department held its first youth meeting on September 6 and is planning to meet once a month. The meeting is intended to allow the youth to create fun for themselves, learn Christian games and fellowship amongst themselves. Please refer to the church bulletin for announcing of date and time of the next meeting. Its October and December is around the corner! The Youth Department will be facilitating the Christmas program this year. We are excited for this event. Please get ready to get ready because we are planning a great and fun-filled celebration. All kids are invited to participate in every capacity. The Youth Department is also in the process of scheduling and planning events for the remainder of the year and we are anticipating on being very busy the next few months.
