Show Spring Pageant at High School Season's Finest Scores of Girls Dressed in Pretty Costumes Enact Fairy Story With the presentation of the Spring Pageant by the students of the physical education department of Ogden high school in the > school auditorium Friday evening, one of the prettiest festivals that Ogden has ever witnessed was recorded. Faultlessly and appropriately gowned, more than two hundred fifty young women took part in the pageant, enacting a story based on fairy lore and interweaving it with dances of originality and beautiful conception. Miss Margaret Stookey, physical education teacher, was in charge. During the past six months, Miss Stookey has been drilling the students on the program, rehearsing each of the dances until a perfection standard had been reached. The pageant involves the story of a fairy queen, Miss Sherma Hendershot, who was positive in her belief that nowhere could the dances of her fairy subjects be outdone. To her kingdom comes the sea, who boasts that he has been practically to all parts of the world and that there are earth people who can surpass the fairy subjects in the art of dancing. From far and near, dancers are called to prove their ability and to contest for the three magic crowns of Fairy Land to be given away by the queen.
