Show ORANGE EMPIRE TROLLEY TRIP A WONDERFUL one-day sight-seeing trip, covering 150 miles and piercing the heart of the greatest orange growing section in the world. The comfortable car leaves the Pacific Electric Station (Sixth and Main Streets) at 9:00 A.M.Wednesdays and Sundays, traverses a portion of the business and industrial districts of Los Angeles entering the gardens and orchards of the San Gabriel Valley soon after leaving the heart of the city, thence running due east through highly productive citrus fruit groves and the fast-growing and prosperous communities of Ramona Park, El Monte, Co- vina, San Dimas, La Verne, North Pomona, Claremont, Upland, Alta Loma, Eti- wanda and the vineyards, Fontana, Rialto and Bloom- ington to Riverside; passing at Crestmore one of the world's largest and most completely equipped cement plants. RIVERSIDE-Not only a brilliant gem among the cities of the Southland, but the location of Mission Inn, a hospice of distinction not equalled in the world, and alone worth the cost of a transcontinental journey (occupying an entire city block, is three stories in height with several interesting towers, and is built about three sides of a great open court of lawn, shrubs, flowers and tropical plants).
