LISTS WINDUP EVENTS OGDEN HIGH SCHOOL NEWS NOTES Constance Ford—Editor Windup events of the school year occupied the attention of Ogden high school students to¬day, with graduation diplomas already signed and the khaki uniforms of the R.O.T.C. stored away in mothballs until next fall. Seniors were requested to meet Wednesday at eight o'clock in the school auditorium to prac¬tice for graduation exercises. Tie clasps of 1938 will be given to senior boys by Robert M. Hog- gan. Watches will be given to Fred Syrett, Alta Erickson and Martha Erickson by Smalley Jewelry company, as the result of a clock contest. All grades are to be turned in to the advisory teachers Wednes¬day. The a cappella choir will sing at Rotary Wednesday. A. M. Merrill, principal and Glen G. Eye, vice-principal, are visiting the junior high schools on registration. The school of¬fice will be open all summer from eight-thirty a.m. to four p. m. to advise students on regis¬tration. Sport-ettes meeting will be held tonight at seven o'clock in Gilbert Moesinger's room, 103. This will be the last meeting held with all members at school. The faculty women gave a party in honor of Helen Ford and Lulu Hodgson immediately following school tonight. The Ogden high school sym¬phony orchestra held a social to¬day at three-thirty in honor of junior musicians for next year. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Peterson will leave Friday afternoon for Washington D. C. and points east. The fol¬lowing were elected: Phyllis Brophy, president; Edna Brown, vice president; Shirley Hendrickson, secretary. Graduate Reception Graduation exercises com¬mence at eight p.m. Thursday in the school auditorium. All graduates are requested to be in their seats by seven-forty- five. The senior reception given for the graduates by the faculty will follow immediately after the ex¬ercises. Last night in Sportettes, of¬fices were turned over for next year, by President Constance Ford to Jean Bedford; Vice President June Coop to Elaine Drake; Secretary Kathryn Wig¬gins to Ruth Purdy. Plans for final party Monday, June 6, were made. All mem¬bers planning to attend are re¬quested to give their names to the officers. . Student Farewell Farewell student body assem¬bly will be held Thursday at eight-forty. Offices will be turn¬ed over for next year to the new student body officers.
