Nicholas Lickwar, a theatre director, actor and producer and a sports announcer. Spent several years as leading member of San Jose Light Opera Association. Lead roles in productions such as Merry Widow, Vagabond King, Song of Norway. Charter member of Gilbert & Sullivan Society. Appeared for several years semi-professionally in San Francisco area with female pops quartet. Traveled extensively throughout Europe as soloist with Santa Clara Chorale, in Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Romania and in July 1978 in Poland and Russia.
