March 3 Mrs Yono cleaned five venetian blind today paid her 4.50 Sent cake & flowers to Mrs Janetta Morrell who is now able to be at home. I cleaned closets & cupboards most all day. Myrene R. Brewer went to Salt lake to spend the weekend with Oertel. Mrs. Junior Edward Rich arrived home Tuesday after a few weeks sojourn with her husband, Major Rich, who is stationed at Bakersfield, Calif., with the medical air corps. Mar 44 Saturday, March 4 Have had a hard day trying to finish up some of the rooms for tomorrow. This is a very hard climate to keep house in So much soft coal smoke in the air. Today we havent a member of our own family in town the first time in 48 years I think when Dr and I have been home. Avon, Mary & Cleone also Junior are in Calif. Oertel & Myrene are in Salt lake City and Thair in Europe. A rather cold night snowing some my cousins Daughter Elizabeth Razor & her husband called. Sunday, March 5 Mr & Mrs Leslie Razor went to Sunday school with us. She is a daughter of my cousin Ronald Jones who lives in Glenn Dale Calif. Had never met any of his children before. She seems a very fine girl. Her husband too is very likeable. They had dinner with us & spent most of the day here. Dr and I called on Millie Flygare she is quite ill. Dr called on the Bakers. Spent the evening listening to radio news also Apostle Widtsos radio talk from Tabernacle S.L.C. Monday, March 6 At two P.M. I attended Medical Aux at my sisters home. A book review given by Joan Emmitt. Nice time. Have done very little at home today. Rested some & this evening was Mrs Lucile Dixons guest at the Weber College Womens club. Lila Eccles Brumhall gave a book review Harriett Beacher Haw & her family. Well given and very much enjoyed. Blanch came home from a three weeks visite with Junior in Calif. Bakersfield. He is well and enjoying his work. Ted Carmon called on phone from depot on return to San Francisco.
