Show Monday, February 24 Have sewed on costum all day. Dr has been home most all day Tuesday, February 25 Have sewed on Pioneer Costums all afternoon. Had my hair done by Ruby Wheelwright. Dr wore a Prince Albert unit he had made in London over 40 yr ago & his silk hat which he wore for many years every day in his early practice. He is only 2 larger in waist line than in 1901. Looked very aristocratic. Wed. Wed. 25 Dr still does some work at office & Hospital but is trying to make him self happy. Wednesday, February 28 Was a guest of Myrene R. Brewer at her home for Acacia Club. Mrs Read Bailey gave a very interesting paper on Australia. Ambros Shaw died of sudden heart attack. We have been acquainted over 50 yr. Hllen Cortez & Iuez C. were guests at Myrenes also. Hellen called to see Dr Edward after. She said the first edition of Sweet Love Remembered had been sold excep a few hundred Vol. & they hoped to print a 2nd Edition for Mothers Day in May Thursday, February 27 Do not feel too fine this A.M. Mrs Yono here to clean. Recd letter from Oertel. Dr has been home most of the day he has sold the last apartment property The Lynn across from Sacred Heart Academy. Net 15.00 cash |
