Show Saturday, November 15 A Luncheon at Colonial Inn. I was a guest of Mrs John & Mrs Earl Rushmer. 2.00 must have b een in attendance. Saw the Male Animal via James Thurber & Elliott put on by Ogden Community Theater at Weber College. Local Talent & played well. Sunday, November 16 Avon flew to Baltimore to come home with Cloteel Monday 17 Attended D.U.P. Board meeting Monday, November 17 Our house is going along but rather slowly as the weather is so bad rain & snow most every day. The Cement basement & poarches etc are O.K. Brick work slow. Sewer connected & some plumbing done. Dr is paying 15.00 & 13.00 per day for carpenters & all workman very high. If they work Saturday they ask time & a half. The carpenters want to stop for the present as they can do little until the brick work is done. Brick layers are hard to get it seems as only one man & helper has been on the job. Perhaps we should have waited until Spring? Tuesday, November 18 Dr & I will heard Dr Johnsen an Astronomy at Weber College tonight Aattended Relief Society 5 Ward. Mrs Abbie Paine gave a fine lesson on the Literary aspects of the Doctorine & Covenants. Stormy today. |
