Monday, March 24 The Baket Ball boys of the U of U. won National game in Madison Square Gardens N.Y. 49 to Kentucky 45. They went & came via plane. A great ovation was given them by 10,000 people in Salt Lake City on their return. In 1944 Utah also won National place in Baket Ball. Letters from Oertel & Avon. Mar 26 Dr & I attended Central School Band & chorus Concert at Ogden High. Joe & Rich Brewer played in the band all members had beautiful Blue & gold suits for first time. Have been busy getting out Pioneer cloths for Jerry Nellson Justin Eccles & Dick All are excited over parade for Classicalia This is Spring it seems so had Mr. Greenwell spend the day fixing up the yard the first time We have had him Dr still going to office as Juniors operating. Kept him all morning at the Dee. He and Blanch called this evening Thursday, March 27 Had Paper up Stairs cleaned by two of City fireman. A good job. I have washed two Bed spreads, 5 heavy linen drapes two quilts and 2 blankets. The Bendx did the job fine. Dr went to office for a while has helped me all he could his first experience in house cleaning since we were married 54 yr ago. Never too late?
