During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show January 20 Saturday. Have been called on the phone and have called quite a lot. After lunch Dr, Cleone & I called at the JE Wright home also of the Larkin Morturary. Mrs. Wright looks very nice in he casket. This evening Jenetta Morrell & I of Acaca Club received flowers etc at the mortuary. Have never seen so many beautiful flowers. Her family very all there. Retire late Myrene called. Sunday 21 January. Dr went to Priestood class at 9 oclock & I joined him in Sabath School at ten. We had a very interesting lesson. At 12 noon we attended the Wright funeral service held in the Tabernacle. I assisted the RS & DUP with the flowers. A beautiful service for one hr. We later went up to Cleones & had dinner after which we called on Junior & family. We attended Sacrament meeting Aldous Dixson talked on a Youth Programme. So many young people out of work also school. Very interesting. We listened over KSL to Bryant Hinckley on The Home in peoples lives especially childrens Dr read aloud for an hr & we retired. |
