Show Menlo Park. February 13 Tuesday. Had a good rest. June & Avon left for home about ten AM. Sorry to have them go. Avon is a dear and June is always so fine to me. We shopped around Stanford and enjoyed the Stanford U Campas etc. note to Pop. Taylor goes out for evening. Will have lunch tomorrow with Mary at Allied Arts. Mrs Jane Peery will be with us. Dick has taken a few steps alone. Menlo Park Wednesday 14 February. Mary, Myrene & I spent most of the day in Frisco. I purchased a new hat and dress in navy blue. It was a help to have the girls help me. We also made some other boys. This evening Mary & Taylor entertained their socal crowd who meet quite often for book reviews. The Prof from Stanford read gave the The Sky Lark. He was guest at dinner and remained over nite. A pleasant evening. Mary served refreshments. Myrene talked to her family over the phone. |
