Show May 15 Wednesday. Ezra, Annie, Dr and I attended the funeral service of Mrs. Welthy R. Clark a dear friend wife of Eddie Clark of Farmington. This evening attended Nurses graduation in Tabernacle. This crul Europian War is the most terriable thing that ha sever come into this World and because of the selfishness of a few dictatiors. Belgim now invaded Holland taken and each in turn. Eng & France threatened and no one can tell where it will stop. God alone can stop it. Thursday 16 May. see June 16. A perfect day all nature so lovly a few clouds just cool enough to be enjoyed. We do appreciate our grand Utah and these United States. May we enjoy peace and all turn to our Heavenly Father & do his will. I have written to Thair & family in Panama and to Janath Russell in Canada. Dr & I are going to Salt Lake City this eve to a dinner honoring Dr WR Calderwood. He has examined 70,000 for insurance in Benefical Life in 35 yr. there is a dinner at Country Club for the Weber Co Drs & wives tonight. |
