Show Musical at U Set as First Summer EventOffering a vocal and piano program, the music department of the University of Utah will present the first concert of the summer session at Kingsbury hall Wednesday at 8: 30 p. m.Winifred Copling, soprano, will be the vocal soloist and other participants will be Art Peterson, violinist, and two piano duos consisting of Mrs. Ralph W. Hardy and Miss Cleone Eccles, Charles Smith and Dee Linford. Excerpts from the second act of the opera, Samson and Delilah will also be given, the singers being Janice Scowcroft, who portrays the Delilah, and Merrill B. Tew, singing the role of the high priest.Janice Gribble will be accompanist for both vocalists and violinist. |
