Show BERLIN, April 30 AP Adolf Hitler, in his order of the day, to German troops in Norway, said tonight that these forces, by establishing land connection between Oslo and Trondheim, frustrated Allied attempts to force Germany to her knees in Norway.The order read: Soldiers in the Norwegian theatre of war.In the tremendous drive forward, German troops today established land communications between Oslo and Trondheim.Therewith the aim of the west powers still to be able to force Germany to her knees by a belated occupation of Norway has been definitely frustrated. |
