Show St. Patricks Day Los Angeles February 17 Saturday. Myrene rested late this AM & she needed too for she is seven mo pregnant. She has been fine during our trip but is inclined to do too much. She is the picture of health and has not been ill at all during the seven mo She is a dear mother and loves her family of four and a half as she says. We had a lunch up town Mrs Overton came for me & we looked around some Myrene bought toys for the children etc. At 2 PM we went to see the play The Man Who Came to Dinner by Moss Heart & George S. Kaufman. A real treat to see people in person again. Had a bite at depot & took train at 740 PM for Ogden Saw Dr Ezras folks at Depot. What a Day! Sunday 18 February. Nearly missed our train last night as we spent some time at Mexican Market near the Depot. also said Hello to Ezra, Annie & Gladys unexpected. We were ready for bed by that time. I slept until one PM. Myrene until 10 AM after such a good sleep we both felt fine. Had lunch Dr Clark Rich & Dorothy are on same train in no time it seemed we were back in Ogden with dear ones to welcome us home. Arrived at 755 The longest time seemed in SLC where we waited one hr & so near home. All well. |
