Wildcat Band Sellse* “4 ones for Funds MeThegaph band council of Weber State’s Wildcat Band has been meeting to discuss the future plans and activities of the band. The council has been working, at the present time, on the activities to gain money to buy blazers for the entire band, Mr. Threldkeld, and Mrs. Hansen. The blazers will be dark blue and worn a certain day of each week and while we are out of uniform on our tours. The band began their blazer drive at the middle of the football season by the selling of megaphones at the games. Plans for new activities, such as benefit concerts, dances, and booster projects for other campus groups, will extend funds for the blazers. It has been one of the goals of this band to create spirit at Weber State and to gain the Spirit Trophy at the end of the year. They are looking toward the great task of achieving the trophy. ‘“‘At this time, the band would like to congratulate the football team for a great season.
