Show Volume 2 Page 2 Issue 1 The year 2008 brought tremendous growth to New Zion. Growth in numbers, yes. But even greater growth moving from intellectual and religious knowledge, to spiritual knowledge. Many of the goals set for 2008 were met. Allowing room for new and higher goals for 2009. Old things are passed away. All things are made new. You don't need resolutions in the Kingdom, not a child of God; not one who has the Christ whose birth we recently re-celebrated in December, inside of your heart. Not even those who gave the gift of him/herself recently to God. We don’t need resolutions because we have already decided to follow Jesus, and as we are doing so — all things will be made new. They will just happen because His promise made to us — and since our promise was made to Him — was that He would supply our every need according to His riches in Christ Jesus. We only need to walk in His likeness. Making resolutions are verbal. Once words have left our mouth, of what we will do in the New Year, they are quickly forgotten. Just Do It! Get on board the train again in 2009. We haven't run out of steam yet. And we won't, as long as our power is the power of the Holy Ghost. You don't have to run, but you must walk the walk. Walk directly into your blessings of this brand new year. Striving to be more like Him who is in us and with us — Emmanuel!
