Show Volume 1, Issue 5 Youth. Shout Outi! Happenings... God Almighty for His grace, mercy & blessings. News from the Youth Department.... KaeK KKK Sis. House & Sis. Davis First of all — To God be the Glory! The Youth Department has been very active in the past couple of months. Sis. Davis and Sis. House have been doing wonderful work with the younger youth. Sis. Davis has the youth humming, singing, clapping and praising the Lord in song. In addition to opening the evening Bible Study with songs and praises, the youth are very active in studying the Word in their own Bible study. for their dedication. KRAKKKK Sis. Sattiewhite & Sis. Blacken for their assistance with the Step Team. In May, the younger youth had the great pleasure of visiting nursing homes. They had a wonderful time and the residents thoroughly enjoyed their entertainment and company. KRKKKKK “Whose House? God’s House! Iam Alpha and Omega...Break it Down Now!!!” The Youth Step Team a.k.a. Ogee emer Re i eeligyuaemenas been working very hard and have had an awesome time readying themselves to represent God, New Zion and the Youth Department in Step and Scripture reciting. They are very excited in “Stepping for the Lord” this month. Their mission scriptures are John 1:1-3 and Revelation 1:8. “The Almighty!” Annual Youth Day Sunday, July 6, 2008 * 3:30 p.m. Theme: “Stirring Up the Gift” Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6-7 ALL YOUTH are invited to come and celebrate your day and honor God in song and praise. Ogden High School Jaime Younger Ben Lomond High School Ashley Taylor Brittany Bradley Two Rivers High School Jo Jo Sattiewhite Washington High School Youth Mission Trip On May 10, the Kids/Children of the King Choir and Dance. Ministries traveled to the nursing homes to bless Sisters Carrie Price and Dorothy Barlin b with a Mother’s Day gift. The children sang and visit at one nursing home by a game of Bingo. Sis. Price Massey. Sis. Price was very danced. They ended their assisting the residents in is the mother of Sis. Betty 4 joyful in our visit. Sis. Barlin lifted the kids spirit by joining ™ To Be Born Again” with her. ‘| in as they sang “If You Want {| Kevin Trapps Northridge High School Jeffrey Ellis “For | know the plans | have for you, for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11) High School State Track Championship Results... 3A Girls Jaime and Driane Younger are the High School State Champs in the Medley and The children came back to the church for pizza and talked about their mission trip tying it into the Bible verses they learned in Bible Study, letting them know their service to the nursing homes was fulfilling God's joy. The children ended their day with a fun trip to the water park in Layton. 3° place in the 400 x 1 relay!! 4A Boys Jo Jo Sattiewhite took 3° in the open 400, 3” in the 4 x 400, 8" in the 4 x 100mm and 2” in the Medley relay. |
