Show Volume 1, Issue 6 Youth 2eEnIngsS... _b Juneteenth Participation — The Youth Dance Group and the Alpha and Omega Step Team represented Jesus and New Zion at the Annual Juneteenth Celebration. The Dance Group danced with inspiration and the Step Team stepped with authority!! Waterfall Canyon Youth Outing — June 2008 In the beginning created the Heavens and Earth and on the seventh day he rested. Somewhere in between he also created Waterfall Canyon. It started around 5:30 a.m. with 6 adults and 11 youth, cold cut sandwiches, granola bars, bananas, lots of water and Gatorade. They journeyed up the Wasatch Mountains in an effort to reach a place called Waterfall Canyon. With determination, everyone made it up the steep but treacherous and breath-taking mountain top to experience the cold, wet and free flowing waterfall. At the top, the crew talked about God’s beautiful creation. ae ne on,a7} - 2 re ‘ ae, FALLS Enjoy a 5k walk/run with family and friends to unite against the AIDS epidemic and to raise awareness about HIV. Together We'll make a Difference Date: Saturday, August 9, 2008 Time: 8:00 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Sponsored Entry information: Registration donation: $20. Each walker that registers before August 1% gets a T-shirt. Kids under 12 years old are FREE. All money raised will go to the Northern Utah Coalition, Inc. HIV/AIDS Project, a non-profit organization.
