Show Saturday, January 1 Rather cold, some snow roads quite slick. Dr made a call at Far West after which we drove to Bushnell Hospital for Ol. Dr & Mrs Robert Hardaways reception to officers & some curtian friends. It was very nice. We think alot of Col. & Mrs Hardaway. At 5 P.M. we enjoyed a nice turkey dinner with Myrene (Brewer) & family. We called on Cleone she has a cold. Dr has some cold so we remained at home last night. We look forward to this terriable World War coming to an end in our favor this year. Sunday, January 2 Snowing. Dr Hancock & Dr E I Rich operated Beverly Cozzens (my nephews girl) removing her apendix last night at Dee Hospital. Clean case. Dr and I attended Sunday School and Fast meeting. Dr bore a good testemony to the truthfulness of the Gospel. Our class in S.S. was very interesting under a fine teacher Bro. Walquist. A large class & visitors present. We had dinner with Cleones family. Dr made some calls. We called on Dr & Lucile. Attended church this eve & listened later to a radio address by John Widtso (apostle) the first of a series. |
