Show Thursday, April 20 Friday, April 21 Maren E. Hardy and I attended the funeral of such a fine young couple who were killed accidently by an auto just as they stepped off a car in N.Y. Verma Lindsay and her husband Ensg. Winkler. A lovly service. Their parents are dear friends of ours. 1,000 big U.S. Bombers hit at German invasion wall. Reds blast 18 vessals as Nazis attempt Sevastopole Dunkerque. Saturday, April 22 I have spent most of the day cleaning. We had a nice dinner with Heber & Lucile, John and Elaine Hancock. I plan so much more every day than I ever get done. Must answer some of the many letters I must. We recd an announcement form Mrs. Fred Rich of her daughter Evelyne to Lt. (Jg) Earnest Fred Anstee Mae. 27th 1944 Sunday, April 23 Dr & I went to Sunday School he told in class that I stepped on his toes when he was giving his idea of the Ten Tribes. I did for I thought he was not just right & was taking up too much time. We had a good laugh anyway. Joe Brewer is 43 yr old today. Spent the day in the canon. So we did not see him. Dr Ezra Rich had dinner with us. Cleone called. We called on Dr & Mrs Frank W. Baker both sick. I went out to West Weber with Dr to see a patient. Nice day. Retire early. |
