The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Wednesday, September 27 Have put up grape jelley & juice. Grapes 3.25 per bushel. Tuesday Did a lot of telephoning Went to Relief Society apron & food sale. Ezra and Gladys Rich were here for dinner tonight. Thursday, September 28 Still putting up fruit made jelly & jam Think this is the last for this year Thursday, September 28 Have spent most all day (outside of getting meals) on getting pictures and money to pay the expense of putting them in history. Feel quite encouraged. Checks came in for 155.00 Have recd several contributions of 100.00 each and from that down to 25.00 Am surprised so few people have pictures of their grand parents & if so dont know where they are We are not writing this history any too soon Friday, September 29 Deposited 695.00 in Bank for D.U.P. most of which I have solicited the past two weeks to be used for pictures in History. Mrs Bell Wilson & I have spent all afternoon on figureing out the size of cuts & placing of the pictures for book. Junior came in for awhile is being entertained quite alot. |
