Show February 5 Monday Have done some hand laundry and have been preparing for my trip to California. Very happy over it as I do want to see the girls & their families. Went down town to shop & pay bills. Was excused from Ladies Aux Medical meeting. The State Board members gave a fine programme. Tuesday 6 February. At eight forty am we took the train for San Francisco. We have a private room which is very comfortable. Myrene has slept most of the day. I have worked on her needle point piece. We retired early as there is little to see. Enjoyed our meals since we did not have to prepare them. Cleone will see that Dr has dinner with her every day and Junior too will be mindful of him. A change will do us both good. Myrene read aloud from Alfred Adler (German). |
