Show February 7 Wednesday Calif. Mary and Taylor met us at the Ferry at 845 AM. We ate breakfast and lunch in town, as it is quite a drive to Menlo Park we spent most of the day shopping around San Francisco. Drove to Marys home by four PM as David is having a 7 th Birthday & party. He is the picture of health and a lovly well behaved child. Five little boy friends were his guests & table was in red, white & blue. Mary & Taylor are very well, little Dick not so well today. He has grown lovly. Taylor & Mary went to dancing class. Retire early. did not sleep well on train. Menlo Park. Thursday 8 February Calif. Weather grand and Acacia in bloom every where Marys spring flowers in bloom. It is quite cool enough for a warm coat. Maids day out so except for a short drive we spend the day at home visiting. Dick is better and is so cute with his head of very white curley hair. Enjoyed the evening, retired rather early. |
