During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show May 29 Wednesday. A most beautiful day. After lunch Dr Ezra, Annie Edward and I drove to Bear Lake to be there for Decoration Day. We took many lovly flowers, also to a nice box lunch which we enjoyed down by the Lake at Fish Haven. We arrived in Paris about five PM & after calling at Aunt Em Richs home drove to Montpelier and decorted Mothers & those of her family buried there. Called on Dr Reed Rich. Spent the evening at Ems also Fannie Budge. & stayed over night at hotel. Thursday 30 May. Paris. Decoration Day. We met the Rich family about 50 of them at Paris Cemetary at 10 AM. Annie & I with Edwards help placed boquets of flowers on fifteen graves of the Rich family, & I placed one on my old school & music teachers Prof Hessell. We started home about 12 noon had a nice lunch (picnic) in Logan canon. Enjoyed the ride & arrived home at five PM. A day well spent. |
