Show July 24 Wednesday Jackson. A big celebration held in Ogden & SLC. Dr & Ralph left at six AM for Worts Camp. Went out in boat for three hr & caught their limit 6 each & were home for lunch. So we had delicious trout and camp fried potatoes. Such a feast. In late afternoon we drove to Jennys Lake etc. It being Ralphs first trip to the Park he was delighted with it all. Thursday 25 July Jackson. This morning we left about nine to four yellowstone Park. I has been quite cool & rained some but very pleasant. There are many tourists every where. Old Faithful was not at the best she has not been so active the past two yr. not nearly so much water thrown out about 75 ft less high than we have seen at previous visits. Dr quite dissapointed. We had lunch at cafeteria in the canon. Arrived home at 7 PM having had a very enjoyable day. |
