Show ACADEMIC VICE PRESIDENT Dr. Helmut P. Hofmann was appointed to the post of Academic Vice President in August, 1967. A native of Germany, Dr. Hofmann earned his Ph.D. degree at the University of Heidleberg. He has filled faculty positions at Wayne State University, the University of Michigan, and Utah State where he built USU's department of special education to national recognition. As Academic Vice President he supervised the standards of the college. DEAN OF LARGEST SCHOOL Dr. Dello G. Dayton served as the Dean of the School of Arts, Letters, and Sciences. As Dean of the School, he was responsible for the faculty and students of the former Departments of Life Science, Physi-cal Sciences, Social Science, and Humanities. Dr. Dayton graduated from Utah State University. He earned his advanced degrees at the University of California at Berkeley. |
