The popular vote of officials, coaches and sports writers in each of the six Beehive prep conferences resulted this year in the most con¬clusive choice of recent history. The honored schools are Tooele, with three, Box Elder with two, and Sprlngville, Ogden, Jordan, Fillmore, Carbon and Granite each KENNEDY SENSATION. Kennedy is a rare combination of size, speed and football instinct. This ilkeable, curly-headed Ogden boy should go a long way in col¬lege. He has everything, including that rare co-ordination and rhythm developed only by basketball. Maurice has been a mighty player in cry game this year. The backfield averages 168 pounds, id all four graduate this year. The second and third teams speak themselves, while many of the inorable mention players would idoubtedly have achieved greater coenitlon had their teams been are in the limelight. Since Salt Lake City two-year i 'lools do not compete with U. H. A. schools, their players could F ily b considered for all-state lation selection this year. KENNEDY Ogden (F.B.) GIRL DESIGNS PRIZE DISPLAY Arch Will Be Erected At Intersection In Time For Celebration Lola Woodbury, 515 Twentieth street, a junior student at the Og¬den High school, was today an-nounced winner of the $5 cash prize offered by the chamber of commerce Christmas lighting committee for the best holiday decoration for the intersection at Twenty-fifth street and Washington avenue. LANTERN SIMULATED The design which promises to rival those arranged by students of the junior and senior high schools last year for another intersection, consists of a lantern effect at the top of the arch, with streamers run¬ning to the poles and candle ideas at the poles. The display will be reproduced in brilliant colors and is scheduled to be in place for the Christmas celebration the night of December 1. Miss Woodbury is an art student in the class of LeConte Stewart who co-operated with the Christmas lighting committee and Miss Sarah Wilson, art supervisor of the Og¬den city schools, in the lighting movement this year.
