Show Sunday, feel quite myself again. but we did not go to church, Laurie, Janet & Terry visited pleasantly. Nan went to see The Big Fisherman good! I home alone. had several phone calls TV & Braille Monday, Feb. 8, Nan & I spent a long time sorting old letters & discarding many. Edith phoned. She returned last night. Listened to some of my reading book. Nans grandson Michael was taken to hospital. Nan visited him in the eve. Wednesday, Feb. 10, We continued with out paper sorting a big bunch of letters from my Dick affecting but pleasing. Mrs. Lesner came for us to plan a nurses tea Feb 29. Alice Ballinger called & brot a jar of jam. I gave her the Hoe for landscaping for the Art Center Henry came to consent the table & other details Thursday, Feb. 11, Thursday feeling almost myself again. Reading Longfellows Tales of wayside Inn by fits & starts phone calls to & from. Nans sister in law Leone has lunch with us & visited Nan I phoned Helen Parry re LL program for May 18. A Mr. Baunding came for donations to Elders. Marie returned bank books. Very good showing. Home all day. Sun came out a fine day Friday, Feb. 12, Nan & I down town for 11 oclock at Dr. Stagg (feet) Lunch at Ben March. To Dr. Neilson for light lens adjustment. An interval at home before hair dress at Purkeys Nan did her cleaning between jerks. In eve Mrs. Anna Rasmussen visited pleasantly. To bed rather early (11 oclock) Saturday, Feb. 13, It is spitting snow this am & gloomy. During the stormy day a great deal of snow fell. making the world look like a Christmas card. At home with my usual in activities Nan out to a party in eve Sunday, Feb. 14, No church do not feel up to it yet. Nan cooked a nice dinner & went out after. I to Bettys with Laurie & Janet pm. Betty seems better. A cozy eve at home with good programs on TV. Nan home in time for checkers. |
