Show We looked over 1811 & made plans. both there and at 1420. Later Nan & I to new home. & again in eve. to make plans. A good conference with Mr. Schow in eve. Sunday Mar 27, Sunday School 10 am. Out to see landscape man after. Good dinner at home. Nan out pm. Eve. TV & radio. Monday 28 Nan & I spent several hours before lunch at 1811. measuring, planning, etc. In later pm Betty Elizabeth & Don met us at 1811 them much pleased. Phoned Bob Weis & Mr. Parker re fences curtains Ward teacher. I has a long phone visit with Rosabelle re fences etc. Nan & I to Salt Lake at 1030 To JCML & looked at curtains for new kitchen & bed rooms. Nans sister Jessie came at noon We had lunch at JCML. Looked around a while & then took Jessie home. Got flowers for Betty at JC. Came home at 330. Out to Bettys for a nice visit & to 1811 before coming home. Nice progress at the house Mr. Schow & a workman came to get measurements. Wednesday March, 30 A busy day with house fixes. At 11 am Mrs. Mickleson & Mary (Fisher) A long time at the house but for decided on carpet, curtains, etc. Gardeners came with plans for paths fence & awnings. Mary Frances & upholstery man to measure couch & dining chairs for reupholstering. Meanwhile working on talk for Drama Club. Thursday, march 31, A.m. studying short talk for Drama Club. Still planning for France Mr. Deemes came & returned radio. I had an early lunch. Nan out in pm She & Mary came at 5 & we went up to house Mary had supper with us. I with Alice to Drama Club at Mrs. Plodgins. I gave my talk an introduction to The Rack which was read by group Jimmie called this am. after inspecting progress at house. Mary & her boys went up to measure for carpets A gloomy day. To tea at Threshold at 2 guest of Mrs. Bessie Barton & A reading by Mrs. Saxton. Pleasant company. Mrs. Petty brot me home. Snow & rain mixed. Nan & I to the house doing a lot of measuring & planning. To Five Points cafe for supper. Home eve Chinese checkers & house planning. Saturday, April 2, The landscape gardener Mr. Hanson & son came with beautiful plan 3950 dollars which I accepted Mr. Tribe came with them as advisor. Mary Frances brot albums to look at. Margaret & the Stevensons came & went to house. Nan & I went out for groceries. then settled down for quiet eve. Got figurines from Glade Hanson at 4000 dollars. |
