Show with Margaret. (Dorothy at church) Started home at 5 storm started Nan out eve. Monday, Feb. 22, Mary Dee came to visit this am. We talked over some family problems. Marie came 200 pm & we went over bills & bank sc. Sent flowers to Michael. who leaves hospital to day Nan took the family a fried chicken. In eve Lex Malone called to sell us a Missionary tkt & visited almost an hour. We are having more cold weather. Tuesday, Feb. 23, Got two new reading books Finished the Readers Digest & began Eleanor Roosevelts book. A book about Censt promises to be not so interesting. To Braille lesson p.m. to Boyles & got a foot stool for Study. Much thought about Annabelle in a Salt Lake rest home. Cold weather. but clear. Got a postcard book at Modelings. Wednesday, Feb. 24, To hospital at 10. to consult further re memorial room clearing. Nan out pm Mrs. Staps (cateress) came to plan for tea on 29th Nan out pm & until 830. Very cold weather at 5 degrees at night. Joe & Rosabelle got home to night. I had time for my reading. Cold weather with some snow. Thursday, Feb. 25, Some reading and phoning am. Nan cleaned silver for tea Monday. Myrene called for me at 110 & we went to d of U P meeting at Frances Andersons A fine lrg home. up on a snowy hill. Usual interesting Pioneer lessons. To market with Nan later. Saw Rosabelle at meeting. & talked over estate. Saturday, Feb. 27, Snowing again this am. Mary Frances & Mrs. Camile brot the new bedspread very pretty I read a lot of Mrs. Roosevelts On My Own during the day & evening Henry came & we got out china & arranged rooms for Mondays tea. Margaret & I got in a good visit before Nan took her to the station at 330. Nan out in eve. Sunday, Feb. 28, Margaret came up for Acacia. Ralph took us to Edna Wallaces at 1 pm. A nice meeting. Fine program on Ogden Industries by Blanche Johnston. Margaret stayed with me over night Sunday. Sunday School 10 am To mkt. for supplies & home for dinner. I got out plates, etc. |
