Show Sunday, May 1. fast meeting 1130 Home for lunch Mr. Dowell recital 3pm. Dinner Country Club honoring Laurie & Janet 6 pm Nan out later & I at home Monday, May 2, Jimmie brot two men to look thru the house. No decision. of course. Men laying carpet at 1811. Very beautiful. Nan packed up some dishes & placed in new house In late pm to plantation for dinner. Both tired in eve & early to bed. Tuesday, may 3, To the new house at 10. Rosabelle, Laurie & 2 little girls with us. Lunch at home. To Blind Centre at 2. A good Braille lesson & drill by Mrs. Gibson. Back to house. Met Bob Weis & decided on fence. To Bettys for nice visit She some better. Tom Barker & 3 children visited in eve. Wednesday, May 4, I feeling pretty fro nice visit. Stayed up stairs while Margaret, Martha & Nan packed dishes all day. Nan gave us a good dinner. She & Margaret took lots of boxes with small things to 1811 No developments about sale of house. Felt better in eve. Friday, storms sunshine this a.m. Decided to take a layoff from moving. after a busy day Thursday. Friday, May 6, Nan & I up to the house. just to look. Not anything being done. To hospital for drugs & to look at new furnishing in memorial & Downtown Kirby for vacuum. Ben Marche shower curtain etc. Lunch with Nan & many. Friday pm. I fell over a pile of rugs & was hurt. Saturday, May 7, As a day of rest for Nan this was a failure. She kept at packing most of the day I not feeling well so was inactive. To the house, to market & for a nice ride before Nan went out Mothers Day To cemetery with flowers for Marian. Fran Dr. house |
