Wednesday, Sept. 7, A very pleasant day sunshine and nice temp. Nans pm out. She took us to Bettys at 1 pm where I spent the pm. Betty better to day. Edith with us part of the time. Nan brot us home at 5. Sadie McCracken came in eve. We began on the Relief Society literary lessons. Thursday, Sept. 8, To Purkey for hair do am. Seemed to need rest pm. so relaxed. While Nan did her ironing, Marie came at 530 We went over the last papers of sale of house and paid a 7,000 dollar note. The final check in house settlement was 14,900 dollars. Listened to Olympics eve. Friday, Sept. 9, Gary getting grounds in nice shape. Gladys Rich visited in pm, Gave thrilling account of her recent trip by airplane over N. pole to Europe. A ride in eve. Saturday, Sept 10, To Salt Lake at 1030 Edith with us. Shopped at ZEMI & got a table for down stairs bath. To Nans brother for a nice dinner. Picked up Edith at Margarets. Home in pm.
