Show Snow & cold stay at home weather Monday, Feb. 15, Nan & I still sorting papers Lots of Red Cross letters & records brining memories of busy days and of my Dick. Bless him! To market with Nan. Dark at 6 pm Nans car stuck at mkt. brought home by wrecker. Some practice on Braille & checkers with Nan in eve. Tuesday, Feb. 16, Nan & I still sorting papers. Went over Canteen, L.L. Club & Federation. Discarded a bushel & kept a mere handfull. A rather emotional job & I got very tired. So many memories all at once of my dearest husband. A ride to hospital with Henry. Visited Hilda in rather serious condition & Michael sweet boy! who is just getting along. A ride & a visit at Bettys after. Wednesday, Feb. 17, To LL Club pm with Lucille Hancock (Country Club) A rather vapid book review & fair luncheon. Nans day out. A fine, sunny day. Betty feeling better on the whole. Annabelle in a Salt Lake resting home quite comfortable but still a heart sorrow. Home in eve Nan at 11. Thursday, Feb. 18, 9 phone calls before out 9 oclock breakfast. No emergency just carrying on. Nan had 2 little girls with her for half hour To Red Cross with file of paper. Called for Edith. To hospital & decided on memorial room new sag, etc. Visited Hilda & Michael. Met with Mr. Knapp & proposed Pink Ladies tea Com Delayed lunch at home. Nan picked up her cleaning & got the house tidied. Nan took papers to library C. Eccles & P.O. Friday, Feb. 19, I quiet day at home. Began listening to Readers Digest. Nan doing her cleaning. Finally settled down to a regular routine & a ride in eve. Brakes on car stuck Seatt brot me home. Marie came. A day of strenuous inactivity Not feeling so well to day & In later pm visited Hilda and Michael. at hospital & got groceries. Weather fine Left for Salt Lake at noon Nans car. Called for Mary Heavy snow when we arrived at Dorothys Nan to her sisters. I a nice visit |
