Show Financial Aids standing", the eligibility of such student shall be suspended, and no further financial aids will be processed until he or she regains good standing. Good Standing means, with respect to a student, that the student is eligible to continue in attendance as he or she complies with the accepted and approved standards and practices of Weber State College and the Office of Financial Aids, and that the student is making measurable progress toward the completion of his or her course of study. Measurable Progress means that recipients of any of the Financial Aid Programs must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.00 or higher in order to remain on their respective programs. The financial aids for a student will be terminated at the culmination of two successive quarters in which the student's cumulative GPA has been less than 2.00 and in which a positive trend is absent, unless the student has otherwise met with the Director of Financial Aids and arranged for an authorized exception based upon illness, personal or other valid reasons as evaluated by the Director. Terminated or suspended eligibility for failure to maintain measurable progress may be reinstated when the student's subsequent performance becomes 2.00 or higher. Appeals of students may be processed, in written form, to the Financial Aids (Scholarship) Committee through the Director of Financial Aids.
