Show Academic Information yCZZ'^e. ^ f Specific Course Requirements All candidates must include in the 183 credits the following courses: Credits* English 1, 2, 3, (Freshman Composition) 9 Orientation 1 or equivalent 2 Health Education 1 2 Physical Education (Medical exemption approved by the college physician required to waive this requirement) 3 (For specified activities see Physical Education Department) Area Requirements A student may satisfy the general education requirements by completing a minimum of 40 credit hours in the four areas of Humanities, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences. At least 9 credit hours, but not more than 12 credit hours in one area will be counted toward this requirement. In addition, women students are required to complete one approved course in the department of Family Living. Humanities: The general education requirements in Humanities may be satisfied by completing 9 to 12 credit hours selected from the following courses. The courses must be chosen from at least two fields, one of which must be Literature.
