Show Wednesday January 16 Columbus. Mary reported some better this A.M. Dr Oscar Oertel and I drove into the Hospital early. And so happy to see Mary look better tho she is very weak and can take but little nourishment. Dr and I took the street cart from the hospital up town. Dr. bought a new overcoat at Lazarus Store. Can spend only a few minutes at a time with Mary she is so nervous. Drove into Oertels for dinner and back to the hospital again. The elders and administered this morning again and Mary seems better tonight. Did some writing today at hospital.Thursday January 17 Columbus Ohio. We are s encouraged this A.M. over Marys condition her temperature is down to 102 and she seems much better Elders McMackin and Landers administered to her this A.M. Stayed at the hospital only a few minutes Oertel and I drove back to her place and there met Dr at Lazarus Store and had lunch. Looked over the store awhile and then went to the Hospital again. Mary still improving course. Dr and Oscar drove in to see her again tonight as her temperature was up same. |
