Monday. March 18. Ogden. After doing up the work I took the 11-30 Buss for Salt Lake I looked thro G.C. M. I same had lunch there and then attended a board meeting of the Cultural Co. of Daughters of Utah Pioneers at the Capital Bldg. My last meeting with them as I have served the two years as auditor for which I was elected. Fannie Woodruff has acted President. A fine lot of women whom I am glad to have known. Came home on train arrived home 6-10 P.M. Went to R.S. Board meeting in 18 Ward. Cleones car was stolen while she was in here but was recovered in a short time by June and Avon who happened to recognize it and followed until they got it.Tuesday. March 19. Ogden. Wrote to Mary in Columbus. I spent this morning at home. Rupert and Gladys are up early have breakfast and off to work before Dr and I are awake. We ate our breakfast at nine. This afternoon I attended Relief Society meeting in the 12th Ward. Seventy five women were present. Barries What Every Woman Knows was read by Norman S. Evans and Barries was given by Pearl McFarland. After meeting a fine dinner was served to all present. Toasts were given by Jimmie Campbell past president; and Sister Humtes who is acting president. Talbor Wheelwright Board member and myself. Alice Faritz was toastmaster. I called on Blanch, Jrs wife who brought me home. Junior, Avon and June called today. A pleasant evening to have.
