Show Monday. June 24. Today I have done a lot of phoneing for R.S. and DP. Mr and Mrs Herbert Taylor of Wyo. Had lunch with us. This evening I had a meeting of the Relief Pres and after that Dr. Royal Cleone, Avon and I went to see Noahs Ark a very sensational picture. Had a letter from Oertel in which she said Oscar was in St Luis and Janath had the measles. Tuesday. June 25. Today I prepared a nice lunch, fried trout Dr Ezra sent; new green peans, creamed new cabbage home cake and house made Strawberry ice cream, Blanch and Junior Mary Dr, and I enjoyed it. This afternoon I attended the Eighteenth Ward R.S. after which I visited Edith Volker who is very sick, I also called on Mrs Frank Baker. This evening I had a committee meeting of the Daughters of Pioneers. Mary is out with Joe and Myrene and a friend of theirs. Hr Baker and Dr have planned a trip to Fish Lake. Mr and Mrs E.O. Wattis celebrate their Golden Wedding tonight. |

This collection contains 74 diaries of Dr. Edward Rich and his wife Almira. They begin in 1892 and run through 1965. The bulk of this collection centers on Almira's diaries that run from 1897-1947. During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |
