Show Saturday. June 22. I have been ironing most of the day. Dr brought home a box of strawberries very fine given him by some one in Kaysville. (Delicious) Mary is out with Sidney B Dr and I called on Cleone and Royal. Shall retire early. We are now listening to wonderful music from New York over the radio. Sunday. June 23. I have attended two sessions of Mount Ogden Stake Conference. Mrs. C. Flygore and I met President Heber J Grant, Bishop Silvester S Cassion. President Robert I Burton their wives and others and showed them our Pioneer Hall. Dr gave me my first lesson in driving the Packard car. I wrote a letter to Oertel. Mary, Rosemary Scoville Gladys Rupert and I listened in to hear B.H. Roberts on the Restoration of the Gospel. Dr and I had dinner with Blanch and Junior. Mary went to a breakfast at Lilith Harnesss. Felt quite tired tonight so retire at ten thirty. |
