Show Thursday. July 4. As chairman of the building committee I wrote a letter of appreciation to Presidents Heber J. Grant, A, W, Ivings and C W. Nibley for a gift of $500.00 to the Daughters of Pioneers of Weber Co for their building. Mary and Si Hammons, Joe and Myrene went on a picnic. Avon and babies are here. Dr has attended two maternity cases. A very quiete Fourth Have been home all day except a ride with Avon. She also gave me my second lesson on driving the car. Let us salut the flag a talk over the Radio K.S.L. 56 men signed the Declaration of Independence. Stars was sung written by Harriet Ware. Friday. July 5. This is my father and Mothers wedding anniversary 59 year I have spent today sewing I took my second lesson in driving Dr was very nervous and doubts that I will ever learn. So I have decided to get another tutor. I wrote a letter of thanks to Apostle D. O. McKay for his interest in helping the Daughters of Pioneers to raise means for our Hall. Avon and children have been down today I went out in Auto with Junior for awhile. |
