Show Saturday February 9 Columbus Snowed quite a lot during the night and every thing looks beautiful there are so many trees here. I went up town with Oertel to do some shopping. Seemed good to be out again. We did not get home until six. Mary felt we had been gone a long time. Very dangerous driving. Prepare supper and retire early.Columbus February 10 Sunday A cold night three below zero Oertel took the children into Sunday School. Brought the Elders back with her to dinner. Bro McMackin and Bro Cloetel. I prepared dinner. Roast Pork and brown potatoes, cauliflower, in butter, hot biscuits, grapefruit cocktale, and Apple pie. We went for a ride and took the Elders home. Drs Baxter and Means and family called while we were gone. Janath stayed with Mary. |
