Show Friday. May 17. This A.M. Mrs Blanch Mattson Ida Treseder, Rose Packer and I met as a Committee to call on the picture Show houses to see about them putting on an appropriate picture for children in the morning and by the D of P. sponsoring it receive a percentage to help us in our building fund. Called on Mr Ashtol, Perry and Cloason. Very favorable. After preparing lunch and doing up the work I did some cleaning. Listened in to radio this eve and wrote up my diary for a week. Dr went to sleep listening so I woke him up and he went to bed and I continued to write. The K.S.L. Broad Cast has been very nice. Sat. May 18. Avon invited me to go to Drama Club breakfast and programme. Cleone, Myrene, Mrs. Smart, Mrs Spense Wright Mrs C. Rammy were guests of Avon and Cleone. This evening The Mount Ogden Relief Society Board entertained o 6 Ward officers at a play Take My Advice given in 9 Ward by Weber College players. I did not go as I had already seen it. Recd a letter from Oertel saying Mary was home from the Hospital and was just fine. Also a letter from Ruby. Dr and Jr took out Gladys Bevans tonsils. |
