Show Columbus February 5 Tuesday Mary rested well except about one A.M. she called and said she was cold so I got up and put an extra cover. My cold is no worse. We did not get up early as it was a cold morning. Mary feels fine has been up three hours or more. Mrs. Ward sent her a box of house made fudge and Mrs Fern sent chicken broth noodles and cherry pie for Mary also Mrs Fournixer sent cookies. All are splendid friends and neighbors of Oertels. Mary has been up most of the day and downstairs to Lunch. Rather tired tonight and she has some headache. Had a letter from Myrene Katherine Arnold and Dr. Wrote to Dr and Elizabeth Thomas. Darned and patched for Oertel this afternoon.Columbus February 6 Wednesday Snowed most of the day. Mary made her first visit to Dr Means office had her head dressed and stood it well. Oertel drove in with her after coming back she slept awhile. Mrs. Hannable brought her some warm ginger cake which she enjoyed with a glass of milk. She has eaten well today and wrote a letter to Bil Woodbury. I have written a letter to DOrr, Dr and Katherine Arnold. Received letter from Gladys Bevan and Katherine Arnold. It has seemed a long day. Helped to get dinner and did up the dishes. A great marry accidents owing to the bad weather. |
