DEATH SUMMONS CHURCH WORKER Pneumonia Proves Fatal to Alice Hansen Mack, Aged 68 Mrs. Alice Hansen Mack, 68, of 2869 Washington avenue, prominent church worker and widow of Henry M. Mack, died in a local hospital Monday following a three day illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Mack was born March 8, 1867, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of William L. and Mary Jane Judson Hansen. She was married to Mr. Mack November 29, 1893, in Salt Lake City. Her husband died in Ogden in 1930. In 1898 Mr. and Mrs. Mack came to Ogden to make their home. She was president of the Y. W. M. I. A. of the L. D. S. Eleventh ward; also president of the Weber stake Y. W. M. I. A. and a member of the Weber stake Relief society board. She was also active in genealogical work and a member of Camp B, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Mrs. Mack is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Watkins, Jr., Ogden, and one brother, Leslie R. Hansen, Ogden. Funeral services will be held in the L. D. S. Eleventh ward chapel Friday at two oclock under the direction of Bishop James H. Riley. Friends may call at the residence, 2869 Washington avenue, Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday until hour of services. Interment will be made in the family plot in Ogden City cemetery under direction of Lindquist & Sons. Burial Services Set For Friday ALICE HANSEN MACK Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Hansen Mack, 2869 Washington avenue, will be held Friday at two oclock in the L. D. S. Eleventh ward chapel, with Bishop James H. Riley officiating. Friends may call at the family home Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday until time of services. Interment will be made in the family plot in Ogden city cemetery. Arrangements are under direction of Lindquist & Sons. |
