Show There Will Be Two Hearts By Elaine V. Emans There will be some uncharted seas for us, There will be angry wind, and rain stinging, And darkness coming down, but steadfastly There will be a bird, A bird singing! There will be pain we have not reckoned with, There will be zones of shattered dreams inclining To dim our faith, but always over us There will be a star, A star shining! There will be tears, and O, there will be mourning When for but one of us Death shall come wearing His black robe but through Life and after it, There will be two hearts, Two hearts caring! Kordnyi in 1894 devised the method of cryoscopy in examining urine University of Turin, Italy Founded in 1404 to 1412. By Roberta Symmes My house may be small But what dooes it matter? Its easy to fill up With brave, cheery chatter The quicker to listen To little feets patter. My house may be small But what am I caring? Its big enough quite A song to be hearing And roomy enough. Others griefs to be sharing. My house may be small But daily its growing With seeds of contentment And love it is sowing With deep understanding And wisdom Its knowing. Helpful Hints Mignonette is abhorred by flies, and in a room where pots of the flower are set no fly will linger for a moment. Instead of fly papers or other sticky mixtures left about the room, try the sweet and wholesome mignonette. If stamps stick together put a paper over them and rub a hot iron over them. This loosens them without spoiling their sticking qualities. When tying comforts, use an extra long thread and catch through at the desired intervals clear across the quilt loosely. Then snip between spaces and tie. One can work twice as fast when you dont stop to tie each stitch. Before putting away the winter woolens be sure that each piece is perfectly clean. Make bags of suitable size of common muslin or other cotton material. Put the woolens in them and tie securely. No matter how temptingly soft and fine the woolens are no moth will eat through cotton to get to them. A small goldfish bowl is just the thing in which to beat whites of eggs, mayonnaise and cream. The shape is particularly good because it prevents spattering and the small opening just accommodates the egg beater. Also, it is very easy to clean. An old sheet cut in convenient size pieces, starched and ironed in the usual way, will prove a blessing when one has to launder handkerchiefs or dainty lingerie. The dampened articles, if ironed directly on the starched pieces will have a fresh, crisp, new appearance not easily obtained in any other way.
