Show January 22 Tuesday Ohio. Columbus A very stormy morning. Rain and hail. Streets very icey. Dr and Oscar and I drove into the City about nine A.M. I spent the morning at Lazerus Store. Mary much better rested well last night. Had lunch up town. Had my first permanent wave this afternoon at Lazerus Beauty Shop cost $7.50 and took three hours to do it. Oertel not use at three thirty. She had a shampoo and we did some shoping and met Dr and Oscar at the Sterling Loving hospital. Mary feeling much better. Drove home very slowly roads so bad. Had a nice dinner. Played a game with Janath. Wrote to Katherine Arnold Cleone and Myrene today. Read news of the death of Neiveve Remingtons death also Ellen and Joe Eccles little boy.Columbus January 23 Wed. Oertel drove Dr and I into the the hospital. Mary much better slept quite well and looks rested but is very tired of lying on her back all the time. I went with Oertel to the marke. There we came home and prepared for a guest dinner tonight. Oertel entertained Dr and Mrs Russell means also Dr and Mrs Harold Baxter who have attended Mary thro her sickness of a month tomorrow. We had a very pleasant evening. |
